Welcome

COVID-19 Procedures

My office is open for face-to-face interactions with clients. As per the guidelines provided by Alberta Health Services and the College of Alberta Psychologists, the following measures (amongst others) are in place to ensure your comfort and safety during your sessions:

  • All clients will be screened to ensure that they have not been out of the country within the last two weeks or are not currently displaying any symptoms associated with COVID-19.
  • Clients must wear a face covering (mask) throughout the session.
  • All clients will be required to wash their hands prior to the beginning of their session.
  • Parents are encouraged to drop off and pick up their children rather than remain in the waiting area ( if they feel comfortable to do so) in order to minimize client numbers/time in the office
  • All touch points in the office will be sanitized before and after any client interactions.
  • All assessment materials handled by the psychologist and clients will be sanitized after every use.
  • Hand sanitizer will be used prior to handling any assessment materials and during the assessment.
  • A protective plexiglass screen will be placed between the psychologist and the client throughout the session.
  • Social distancing will be maintained whenever possible.
  • Appointments are staggered so that there is only one client in the office at any given time. Please arrive no more than 5 minutes prior to your appointment.

I will also continue to provide phone/video-based psychological services in accordance with Telepsychology Services Practice Guideline published by the College of Alberta Psychologists. Please be assured that your privacy and confidentiality will be ensured.

  • Social/emotional and behavioral assessments
  • Psycho-educational assessments/intelligence testing
